About a month or two ago, we received an email from Daniel regarding his efforts in bettering the living conditions and lifestyles of the people living in the province of Kampong Speu, Cambodia. Being a yo-yo player himself, he approached Spinworkx in hopes that Spinworkx would be able to donate some yo-yos and bring some smiles to the children in Cambodia, and guess what? That is exactly what we did!

Spinworkx visits the 2010 China National Yoyo Contest in Guangzhou!

Some of you may be aware that just last week, Spinworkx’s and Duncan Crew Singapore’s Colin and Roy were invited to China’s annual yoyo contest, one of the most highly anticipated contest in asia besides AP10. We’ve got with us today an article kindly written by local Judge Roy Teo, who has documented the entire trip there, giving us a better insight of the competition as well as his trip in Guangzhou, China!

Keeping it basic: Setting up your FAST 201

Bought a FAST some time during mid 2009 onwards??? You may have noticed a few changes with it since YoyoFactory begun production in China.

For one, the plastic caps are no longer removable, and the yo-yo is not as responsive as it used to be.

Today we teach you an extremely simple task you will need to do if you want to add more response to your FAST 201 in order to make it a great yo-yo for the basics, especially Foundation Level 3 of the Spinworkx Challenge!
