Yoyo Factory has come up with a system that works; so well in fact, that they have carried their system through both plastics and metals. This is the FAST system that is used in the Speed Dial and Adjust-O-Matic.

Very seldom do we see the words “High Performance Metals” and “Duncan” come together in the same sentence. Normally when one thinks of the brand, we’d conjure thoughts of its huge heritage, the era of the Freehand 1, as well as it’s range of decent plastic yo-yos these days that cater to both beginners and professionals alike.
However, with the release of the Screaming Eagle brand, Duncan aims to bring to the table its own mix of high-performance metals (there you go! All that in one sentence!) in order to step up its game in the metal yo-yo circle.

Today we look at one of Duncan’s first few High Performance Metals, the Mayhem, which has so far been one of the best things to come out of Duncan’s factory since the Freehand 1.

So we’ve touched on both the FAST 201 and Velocity already.
As previously mentioned, the FAST 201 is a basic yo-yo from YoyoFactory aimed at beginners seeking to learn basic tricks as well as test their skills in what is referred to as the FAST Challenge.
