New Store Location...just opposite Players Cafe!
We’re not far from our old location at all!!! In fact, we’re just opposite Players Cafe and Elm Tree!!!
Staff help out with the moving of shelves and boxes for the past few days
Our temporary setup outside the store on Tuesday
Firdaus taking one last look at the place we once called home
Our staff settling into their new environment!
With the new location being so close by, players shouldn’t have a problem finding us at all, just follow the sound of high pitch ball bearings whirring away and you’ll soon be led straight to our doorstep!

We shifted because our lease term in the previous unit has ended and do not wish to renew the contract for that unit.
We picked the current new location so that it will still be convenient and centralised for everyone.

Less issues with the securities, less trouble for the store, means more yoyos for us in the future.

The area is called ‘Happy Kids Zone’, right beside Toys ‘R Us.
The new store is right beside Junior League (Hair Salon for kids)

Hi Guys,
Opening a new store isn’t cheap, it takes a few thousands of dollars to set up and it’s not profitable.
Despite what most ppl may think, Spinworkx doesn’t make a lot of money from selling yo-yos…just because we sell a $100 yo-yo doesn’t mean we earn $100, the profit margin is really low, so Spinworkx isn’t rich at all, in fact we’re only going by smoothly during this yo-yo season. So don’t mistake the shift of the store as a sign of good business. =)
The reason for shifting was simply because the lease was up, and we HAD to move, not because we want to move.
Just hope that’ll help clear up some misunderstanding =)

hey guys, i dont know how to get there cos there is APEC. is there another way to get there? and suntec is soooo far… you’ll should go to orchard easier for people living in the city

Haha, i think the only people that actually earn $ from selling yoyos are the manufacturers :), retailers like us make peanuts although we sell alot, our cost is also very high and almost the same as the selling price for some items…it’s the manufacturers that earn the big bucks..ahem…maybe it’s time we start thinking of making our own yoyos too hehe…

Hi Guys,
It’s not exactly opposite the old Spinworkx store (The original one), the store opposite it is Junior League, we’re beside them =)
For those needing to go Suntec, you can take the usual bus, but instead of dropping at the Convention Centre, it’ll stop outside Millenia Walk. Just cut through Millenia Walk and you will find yourself opposite Tower 4, there’s an underpass from Millenia Walk to Suntec, from there you can make your way to Tower Two and come up to find us! =)

Wow , but tat means tat I hav to sweat in the sky garden while playing yoyo wth my friends?No offence, but I really prefer the aircon and althought the old place is small but is much more cozy.And I also think its more convient as we can buy things and walk lesser when playing outside the old spinworkx , but I just want to say I hope spinworkx did not move , okay , I know ppl would say too much complaints , so I think I would just cooperate and try out the new place , maybe going there soon……

sky garden is cool with frash air. the last visite i went to spinwork i went to sky garden no ppl there de T_T i was luckily with my cousin…we played yoyo @ sky garden thers DARN LOTS of space.Luckily i went to skygarden if not i will be breacking a few Glasses @ happy kidz zone… my Velo city fly almost fly down luckly it hit the walls….
